La casa che ospita l’atelier di Giuseppe Denti si trova nell’antico impianto urbanistico sorgente entro le mura del castello Colleoni

E' una casa dal passato singolare una significativa parte della storia medievale di Thiene, proprio nel cuore della città, “all’ombra” della Torre civica, costruita su progetto dell’architetto bolognese Serlio, sec.XVI.

Il corso della roggia attraversa la piazza e passa sotto lo spazio espositivo, al limite di un’antica colonna.

Negli anni 1994-96, nel corso del restauro, è stato ripristinato e portato alla sua originale bellezza un porticato ad archi, che è divenuto, oggi, ideale cornice per uno spazio che accoglie opere d’arte.

The house that accommodates the Giuseppe Denti's Atelier is in the ancient implat city planning that rises under the Colleoni castel's walls; it is a house with a particular past, an important part of Thiene's medieval history, just in the city heart, "on the shadows" of the civic Tour, built from a project of the Bologna architect Serlio in XVI century.

The roggia's stream passes through the plaza and crosses under the exhibition's space, on the limit of an ancient pillar.

In 1994-1996, during a restauration, it was restored and took back its original beauty, an arcade, that was became, nowadays, an ideal edge for an space that receives art works.
